Sugartopia participates in national birthday cake event

Country Crock Plant Butter and Cornelia’s very own Sugartopia help make birthdays a little sweeter as many are having to celebrate at home during the pandemic.

Country Crock Plant Butter selected five hometowns in the United States to donate custom cakes delivered to birthday celebrants so that they could safely celebrate at home. At the same time, these efforts will help support a local bakery.

For the month of June, Sugartopia has been selected to extend the #HomeboundBirthday celebration to Cornelia.  “It's a very beautiful and giving idea. We very much appreciate the support it brings to our business during these trying times,” said Sugartopia’s Store Manager Kelly O’Mary.

Anyone celebrating a birthday can contact Sugartopia directly and place their order for a free #HomeboundBirthday cake, while supplies last. “There will be 15 cakes going out every week until we reach 100,” said O’Mary. “It has been so wonderful speaking with those calling to claim their cakes. They are so excited and appreciative. It has truly been a blessing for us and our community.”

Cakes are only available through contactless delivery within a 10-mile radius from Sugartopia.
